Chapter One: General Information

1: Alliance Title in Chinese: 世界3D打印技术产业联盟

2: Alliance Title in English: World 3D Printing Technology Industry Alliance (“Alliance” for short)

3: Alliance composition: Enterprises, scientific & research institutions, industry associations and individuals that are engaging in 3D printing industry in the field of scientific research, software development, equipment manufacturing, production service and other regarding 3D printing industry.

4: Alliance Characteristic: Non-profit, non-governmental and international industry association.

5: Alliance Mission
(1). Integrate global resources of 3D printing industry, organize major events annually such as The World 3D Printing Technology Industry Conference, the World 3D Printing Exhibition and the Innovation Competition, in order to promote the industry and encourage the communication and cooperation between the users and the industry.

(2). Improve the status of the members and create a better development environment through coordinating the relationship between members and social resources.

(3). Develop the industry standards and maintain the industry benefits.

(4). Research and figure out the questions and problems occurred in the development process.

(5). Leading the 3D printing technology industry to develop in a right order, focus on the construction of the 3D Printing Industry Technology headquarters and the innovation center and speed up the combination of 3D printing technology with traditional industries, promote the industrialization process.

7: Alliance Chartered member:
AMA (Asian Manufacturing Association), China 3D Printing Technology Industry Alliance (including all alliance members), Additive Manufacturing Association (UK), research institutes and  the 3D Printing companies from United States、Germany、France、Belgium、Singapore、Australia、Canada and so on, initiated the alliance on 29th May, 2013 in Beijing.

Chapter Two: Services

8: Services Introduction
(1). Carry out the exchanges and cooperation between industries.

(2). Create industry standards.

(3). Guiding the alliance members to work as a group and focus on opening the applications of the market .

(4).Issue “The World 3D Printing Technology Industry Development” report exclusively every year.

(5). Create a good financial environment for bringing in various projects capital and public capital into the 3D printing industry.

(6). Make suggestions and commendations to the government, develop a healthy 3D printing industry together.

(7). Organize important activities such as the World 3D Printing Technology Industry Conference and its exhibition, and carry out specific investigation、technology exchange、market analysis and industry warming etc.

(8). Formulate the standards for education and training, systematically training for the 3D printing application, research and industry development study talented workforce.
 
Chapter Three: Alliance Member

9: Honorary President and Consultant of Alliance
(1). Conditions to be Alliance member
1.1. Honorary President: With extensive international influence in the field of 3D printing and has the personal charisma to generalize and push the healthy development in 3D printing global industry;
1.2. Consultant: Well-known experts in the global 3D printing industry.

(2). Generation:
2.1. Honorary President and Consultant are recommended by the Alliance Council
2.2. The term of position is lifelong. 

(3). Rights:
3.1. Attending Alliance activities throughout the year (conferences, exhibitions, communication events);
3.2. Attending Alliance Assembly meeting and Alliance Council meeting, discussing and voting for major policies and decisions regarding the alliance development;
3.3. First hand industrial information and research achievements from the Alliance.

(4). Obligations
4.1. Playing an active role in leading and promoting the Alliance work;
4.2. Acknowledging and complying with the rules of the Alliance;
4.3. Willing to share research achievements and dedicated to promoting the development of 3D printing industry;
4.4. Actively participating in major events organized by the alliance;
4.5 Maintaining the overall benefits of the Alliance.

10: Council of Alliance
(1). Council Members: Chairman、Vice-chairman、Council member

(2). Conditions of Council member
2.1. Chairman and Vice-chairman: Expert with important contribution to 3D printing industry or the company leader with important influence in the 3D printing industry;
2.2. Council Member: Enterprises, industry association, research institutions and  large-enterprise with great influence and contribution to 3D printing industry.

(3). Generation
3.1. Chairman and Vice-chairman:
Recommended by the Alliance Council follow by election from all the council members.
3.2. Alliance Chartered members have fixed position of alliance council .

(4). Council member’s rights (Chairman、Vice-chairman、Council member)
4.1. Attending to Alliance activities throughout the year (conferences, exhibitions and communication events etc.);
4.2. Attending to Alliance Assembly meeting and Alliance Council meeting, discussing and voting for major policies and decisions regarding the alliance development;
4.3. First hand industrial information and research achievements from the Alliance;
4.4. Proposing interim meeting of the Alliance or the Council;
4.5. Priority for the product and technology to be promoted and applied in 3D Printing Technology innovation center;
4.6.Priority for having the support from the Alliance resources, such as  investment,policy,market users and office during promoting the development of 3D Printing technology industry and establishing the 3D Printing Innovation center

(5). Obligations (Chairman、Vice-chairman、Council member)
5.1. Playing an active role in promoting the Alliance work and leading the industry development;
5.2. Acknowledging and complying with the rules of the Alliance;
5.3. Willing to share research achievements and dedicated to promoting the development of 3D printing industry;
5.4. Actively participating in major events organized by the Alliance;
5.5. Maintaining the overall benefits of the Alliance.
5.6. Pushing the technology achievements transfer, promoting the combination with traditional industries;
5.7 Pay the fees on time in a full amount.

11: Member
(1). Conditions to be member: Enterprises、industrial associations、research institutions and user enterprises in 3D printing industry.

(2). Rights
2.1Attending technical communication、conference、exhibition and other events hosted periodic and occasional by Alliance;
2.2 Priority for the product and technology to be promoted and applied;
2.3.Priority for first hand information and resources from the Alliance.

(3). Obligations
3.1 Acknowledging and complying with the rules of the Alliance;
3.2 Pay the fees on time in a full amount;
3.3 Prohibition on using the Alliance’s trade secrets.

(4). Fees
Member: 4000 Dollars
Council Member: 10000 Dollars
Vice-Chairman: 20000 Dollars

Chapter Four: Organization Structure

12: Council Meeting
(1). Council meeting includes council annual meeting and interim meeting convened by the Secretary-General.

(2). Council annual meeting will be held once a year during the annual World 3D Printing Technology Industry Conference.

13: Secretariat
(1). Secretariat is set up under the Alliance Council, is a permanent body of the Alliance Council.

(2)Secretariat’s responsibilities:
2.1. Conducting decisions of the Alliance Assembly and the Council; Responsible for organizing, managing and coordinating the Alliance daily work;
2.2. Responsible for preparing and organizing the Alliance Assembly meeting and the Council meeting;
2.3. Drafting the Alliance annual work report;
2.4. Accept and investigate the applications for the Alliance
2.5. According to rules and regulations, propose illegal members and accept exit application from members.

(3). Secretary-General
3.1. A Secretary-General will be appointed to be the chief representative of the Alliance;
3.2. Responsible for the Alliance Assembly and the Council, comprehensively conducting alliance daily work;
3.3. Convening meeting of the Alliance Assembly and the Council、releasing news representing the Alliance and signing cooperation documents;
3.4. The position of Secretary-General will be occupied by a Vice-President, whose term of office is two years;

Chapter Five: Asset Management

14: The sources of the Alliance funds are: membership fee, social donations, member donations, project sponsorship, events (conference, exhibition) income and other legitimate income.

15: The Alliance and The Council members should pay membership to the Alliance. 

16: A strict financial management system is a must to guarantee a real and complete accounting system.

Chapter Six: Alliance Termination

17: To terminated the Alliance by any reason, a proposal is a must receiving by the Council and voted by the Alliance Assembly to get approval.

Chapter Seven: Supplementary Articles

18: This constitution will come into effect after approved by the Alliance Assembly during its meeting.

19: Secretariat of the Council is responsible for the interpretation of this constitution.
